About map icons: 
--------------

  Understanding the map (Press "Tab") is a vital part of Codename:Eagle - check it often.
Your position and orientation is represented by a white arrow. Other entities
are represented by icons for their respective type. Green vehicles are typically
friendly and red ones hostile.

  Other important map icons include:

* Mission Objectives - a red cross

* Hints & Interesting Places - a magnifying glass

* Potential Danger - a skull

* Transport - a "T"

* Level Exit - an "E"

* In CTF multiplayer mode, team flags are represented by mobile flag icons

General Hints:

* Driving a car over a gap is a lot easier if you take a good stance

* Use the arrow keys when pitching a plane to gain some altitude

* Use the yaw keys, "A" and "D" to adjust the plane for a bombing run

* If your plane gets too much damage, make a landing and repair it

* Headshots are very efficient

* Parachutes won't work if you use them inside a Zeppelin!
